JiBBiT: Blockchain Meets Cannabis


The legalization of medical cannabis in Germany and other countries raises a far-reaching problem: Counterfeit prescriptions are accumulating more and more and inflicting millions in damages to insurance companies and insured persons. JIBBIT GmbH, a German start-up company from Monheim near Düsseldorf, has developed a revolutionary concept to solve exactly this problem. The keyword for this is Blockchain. The Blockchain is a decentralized database that can be considered almost forgery-proof. Exhibited recipes are stored in the block chain, so that subsequent manipulation can be ruled out.

Jibbit Utility Token (JIB)

ADAB Solutions: The First Islamic Crypto Exchange

UAE-registered ADAB Solutions plans to issue its own Shariah-compliant cryptocurrency and is targeting to raise a maximum of $18.7 million by the end of its initial coin offering (ICO) period on Dec 28, the company's deputy CEO of Islamic finance Maxat Salpyn told Salaam Gateway. ADAB Solutions will kick off the ICO with a public pre-sale on Oct 18 with ADAB tokens priced at $0.10 each. The pre-sale will run until Nov 8, following which the offering will then be open to crowdsale until Dec 28.
